Todd Haley to direct Steelers' offense

ASHEVILLE, N.C., Oct. 17 (UPI) -- The Asheville Citizen Times said Friday that North Carolina-Asheville center Kenny George would miss the season after having part of his right foot amputated.
George is the biggest man in major college basketball at 7-foot-9 and 375 pounds.
The report said George had undergone two surgeries after the foot became infected while playing in a summer basketball camp in Las Vegas.
George scored 12.4 points a game last season while helping his team share the regular-season Big South title with Winthrop. This was to have been George's senior season. He plans to stay in school and work toward a degree.
