NHL: Edmonton 3, Anaheim 2

ABERDEEN, Calif., Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Lubomir Visnovsky scored the go-ahead goal 2:41 into the third period Wednesday, allowing Edmonton to keep Anaheim winless with a 3-2 victory.

The Ducks have opened the season with four straight losses, their worst start to a campaign in five years. It was only the second game of the season for Edmonton and both have been victories.

Rob Niedermayer gave Anaheim a 2-1 lead with his second goal of the year at 4:10 of the second, but Sheldon Souray tied it with 1:37 to go in the stanza.

Corey Perry was sent off at 2:21 of the third for goaltender interference and it took Visnovsky just 20 seconds to produce the game-winner.

Mathieu Garon made 30 saves for the Oilers.
