GLENDALE, Ariz., Oct. 12 (UPI) -- The Phoenix Coyotes, led by Olli Jokinen's one goal and one assist Saturday night, recorded a 3-1 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Jokinen scored on the power play at 6:11 of the first period and assisted on Peter Mueller's power-play tally about 12 minutes later.

Keith Yandle scored the other goal, while goalie Ilja Bryzgalov stopped 28-of-29 shots.

Columbus' lone goal was scored by Derick Brassard on the power play at 4:10 of the second period.

Blue Jackets' goaltender Pascal Leclaire was beaten three times on 30 shots.

Columbus center Michael Peca was suspended indefinitely by the NHL Saturday for making contact with an on-ice official. The infraction led to a game misconduct penalty at 5:21 of the second period in Friday's 5-4 win over the Dallas Stars.
