Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

DANVILLE, Calif., Oct. 12 (UPI) -- In-Kyung Kim claimed her first LPGA title Sunday, closing with a 1-over-par 73 that gave her a three-shot win in the Longs Drugs Challenge in Danville, Calif.
Kim finished at 10-under-par 278.
Angela Stanford slipped to a 75 in the final round, ending up at 281 for second place, followed by Yany Tseng (72) at 282.
World No. 1 Lorena Ochoa was fourth at 4-under 284 after a shooting a 72.
Just eight players broke par in windy conditions. Two-under 70, by Karen Stupples and Mikaela Parmlid, was the low score of the day.
