Tommie Harris' wife dies

NASHVILLE, Oct. 11 (UPI) -- Jason Arnott's two power-play goals Saturday led the Nashville Predators to a 3-1 victory against the Dallas Stars.
Arnott also assisted on Shea Weber's tally just 46 seconds into the contest. J.P. Dumont had three assists, while Predators' goalie Dan Ellis stopped 19-of-20 shots.
Ellis played in one game with Dallas in the 2003-04 season. Arnott played for Dallas from 2001-06.
Dallas averted a shutout when Trevor Daley scored at 2:01 of the first period.
Stars' goaltender Marty Turco was beaten three times on 32 shots.
