NASHVILLE, Oct. 11 (UPI) -- Jason Arnott's two power-play goals Saturday led the Nashville Predators to a 3-1 victory against the Dallas Stars.

Arnott also assisted on Shea Weber's tally just 46 seconds into the contest. J.P. Dumont had three assists, while Predators' goalie Dan Ellis stopped 19-of-20 shots.

Dallas averted a shutout when Trevor Daley scored at 2:01 of the first period.

Stars' goaltender Marty Turco was beaten three times on 32 shots.
