Kyle Busch wins Nationwide race

CONCORD, N.C., Oct. 11 (UPI) -- Kyle Busch had the best car throughout the race and fought off Jeff Burton Friday to win the NASCAR Nationwide series Dollar General 300 in Concord, N.C.

The victory at the Lowe's Motor Speedway was the 20th of the year for Busch in the three NASCAR series. He has nine Nationwide wins, eight in the major Sprint Cup series and three in the truck series.

He led for 137 laps and finished six-tenths of a second in front of Burton. Brian Vickers, Clint Bowyer and Carl Edwards rounded out the top five.

Busch averaged 183.599 mph.

Bowyer remained in front in the series championship standings, 196 points ahead of Edwards.
