DALLAS, Oct. 11 (UPI) -- Cody Johnson scored three times Saturday, keying fifth-ranked Texas' 45-35 upset of No. 1 Oklahoma in the 103rd Red River Rivalry at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.
All of his touchdowns came on short runs in the red zone, two in the fourth quarter.
Quarterback Colt McCoy completed 28-of-35 passes for 277 yards with one touchdown.
Running back Chris Ogbonnaya rushed for 124 yards on 12 carries.
Quan Cosby caught nine passes for 122 yards, Jordan Shipley scored once after 11 catches for 112 yards, and placekicker Hunter Lawrence booted three field goals for the Longhorns (6-0, 2-0 Big 12), whose defense held Oklahoma to 48 rushing yards.
Texas has won three of its last four meetings against the Sooners, and improved to 58-40-5 all-time in the series.
Quarterback Sam Bradford threw a school record five touchdown passes while completing 28-of-39 throws for 387 yards, but the Sooners (3-1, 1-1) offered little else offensively and likely will lose their No. 1 ranking.
