COLUMBUS, Ohio, Oct. 11 (UPI) -- Etienne Sabino scored the game's only touchdown on a blocked punt Saturday to help the 11th-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes beat the Purdue Boilermakers, 16-3.
Ohio State (6-1, 3-0 Big Ten) had 94 rushing yards by Chris Wells and 10-of-14 passing for 97 yards by Terrelle Pryor.
Purdue (2-4, 0-2) has lost 17 straight games against ranked opponents dating back to a win over Iowa in 2003, and the Boilermakers haven't won at Ohio State since 1988.
Purdue quarterback Curtis Painter was 23-of-51 for 228 yards. Kory Sheets rushed for 67 yards for the Boilermakers.
