ATHENS, Ga., Oct. 11 (UPI) -- Matthew Stafford passed for 309 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions Saturday to lead the 10th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs to a 26-14 win over Tennessee.
Knowshon Moreno rushed for 102 yards on 27 carries and Mohamed Massaquoi had five receptions for 103 yards and a TD for the Bulldogs (5-1, 2-1 SEC).
Nick Stephens completed 12-of-28 passes for 183 yards and two touchdowns, and Gerald Jones and Lucas Taylor each had a touchdown catch for the Volunteers (2-4, 0-3), who have lost four of their last five games.
Tennessee, trailing 20-7 in the third quarter, seemed headed for a bigger deficit when Georgia had the ball at the Vols six-yard-line. But Eric Berry intercepted a Stafford pass in the end zone and returned it 54 yards to the Georgia 46. A Stephens' 12-yard pass to Taylor cut the margin to 20-14 with 5:37 left in the third.
