COL FB: Boise State 24, Southern Miss. 7

HATTIESBURG, Miss., Oct. 11 (UPI) -- Kellen Moore had 170 yards and three touchdowns on 21-of-30 passing Saturday to lead 16th-ranked Boise State to a 24-7 win over Southern Mississippi.

Austin Pettis had four receptions for 30 yards, with two of his catches for TDs for the unbeaten Broncos (6-0). Jeremy Childs caught 10 passes for 92 yards and a touchdown and Jeremy Avery and Ian Johnson each rushed for 56 yards.

Austin Davis had 160 yards on 15-of-34 passing for the Golden Eagles (2-4), who have lost three straight games. Damion Fletcher rushed for 69 yards and Southern Mississippi's only TD and Gerald Baptiste caught three passes for 53 yards.
