COL FB: Southern Calif. 44, Oregon 10

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- Mark Sanchez threw three touchdown passes in the second quarter Saturday in ninth-ranked Southern California's 44-10 victory over 20th-ranked Oregon.

Sanchez completed 19-of-28 passes for 332 yards for the Trojans (3-1, 1-1 Pac-10), who lost their previous No. 1 ranking by losing last week at Oregon State.

C.J. Gable rushed 10 times for 49 yards and Stafon Johnson added a TD on the ground for the Trojans, who had 598 yards of offense.

Jeremiah Masoli hit on 18-of-29 passes for 156 yards and was picked off once for the Ducks (4-2, 2-1).
