COL FB: Vanderbilt 14, Auburn 13

NASHVILLE, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Mackenzi Adams threw two touchdown passes Saturday to pace the 19th-ranked Vanderbilt Commodores to a 14-13 win over the 14th-ranked Auburn Tigers.

Adams was 13-of-23 with 153 yards and rushed for another 54 yards. Justin Wheeler and Brandon Barden each caught a touchdown pass for the Commodores (5-0, 3-0 SEC), who are off to their first 5-0 start since 1943.

Auburn's Chris Todd was 8-for-16 for 70 yards, two touchdowns and an interception, while Ben Tate had 27 carries for 108 yards for the Tigers (4-2, 2-2), who lost to the Commodores for the first time since the 1955 Gator Bowl.
