Quarterbacks head NFL injury list

Published: Oct. 3, 2008 at 7:52 PM

NEW YORK, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- The health of several starting quarterbacks again highlighted the NFL injury list this weekend when it was released Friday at the league office in New York.

Cincinnati's Carson Palmer (right elbow), Pittsburgh's Ben Roethlisberger (right shoulder) and Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers (right shoulder) all are questionable for games against Dallas, Jacksonville, and Atlanta, respectively.

Kansas City's Brodie Croyle continues to recover from his right separated shoulder separation and is out against Carolina.

Panthers' starter Jake Delhomme (thigh) is probable, but backup Matt Moore is out because of a broken leg.

Elsewhere, starters Vince Young of Tennessee (knee) and Donovan McNabb (chest) of Philadelphia are probable despite minor injuries and backup signal-callers Patrick Ramsey (right shoulder) and Seneca Wallace (calf) of the Seattle Seahawks also are probable.

Beyond quarterbacks, star Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin is not fully recovered from the head injury he suffered during a helmet-to-helmet hit from New York Jets safety Eric Smith last Sunday.
