COL FB: Boise St. 38, Louisiana Tech 3

BOISE, Idaho, Oct. 1 (UPI) -- Two early touchdown passes by Kellen Moore Wednesday sent No. 18 Boise State coasting to a 38-3 victory over Louisiana Tech.

Moore threw a 13-yard scoring pass to Julian Hawkins midway through the first quarter and then hit Chris O'Neill with a 44-yarder on the first play of the second quarter.

Moore went on to complete 20-of-28 passes for 325 yards, boosting the Broncos to 4-0 for the season and to 1-0 in the Western Athletic Conference. Louisiana Tech slipped to 2-2 and 0-1.

D.J. Harper scored on a pair of three-yard runs in second half. Ten Boise State players had at least one carry and 11 had at least one catch.

Boise State out-gained the Bulldogs 490 yards to 323. Louisiana Tech had a first-and-goal situation late in the third period without scoring.
