JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Josh Scobee's 37-yard field goal in overtime Sunday boosted the Jacksonville Jaguars to a 30-27 win over the Houston Texans
Jacksonville set up Scobee's game-winning kick by driving 51 yards on six plays that included David Garrard passes of 24 and 22 yards to Matt Jones and Greg Jones.
Houston had tied the contest with 1 second to play in regulation.
Garrard finished with 236 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for 41 yards and another score.
Matt Jones caught five passes for 71 yards and a touchdown, and Montell Owens had a 41-yard touchdown run on a fake-punt play by the Jags (2-2).
Jacksonville's Maurice Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor, who combined for 228 yards in a victory last week over the Indianapolis Colts, totaled just 57 yards against the Texans.
Matt Schaub completed 29-of-40 passes for 307 yards and three touchdowns for Houston (0-3). Kevin Walter was the receiver on two of the scoring tosses.
Houston's Steve Slaton ran for 33 yards and caught eight passes for another 82, including a 30-yard scoring toss.
