ANAHEIM, Calif., Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Mike Napoli knocked in four runs Sunday for the Los Angeles Angeles, who finished the regular season with their 100th win, a 7-0 shutout of the Texas Rangers.
Napoli hit a solo home run and two doubles.
Gary Matthews Jr., Reggie Willits and Kendry Morales each drove in a run for the American League West-champion Angels (100-62).
Left-hander Joe Saunders (17-7) was the winning pitcher, allowing two hits over six innings. Saunders struck out nine batters.
Loser Kevin Millwood (9-10) gave up five runs and nine hits, also in six innings.
