DENVER, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Stephen Drew's second hit of the game, a two-run eighth-single, lifted the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 6-4 win over the Colorado Rockies Saturday.
Starting pitcher Brandon Webb hit a two-run fourth-inning double and Adam Dunn smacked a fourth-inning solo homer. Mark Reynolds drove in a run, while David Eckstein added two hits for the Diamondbacks, winners in five of their last eight contests.
Webb, a likely NL Cy Young candidate, was trying to get his 23rd win this season, but the winning pitcher was Brandon Lyon (3-5) after his scoreless eighth inning.
Chad Qualls earned his ninth save by striking out two of the three batters he faced in the ninth.
Ryan Spilborghs led Colorado with two hits and one RBI for the Rockies, who finished with just six hits in the fourth loss in their last seven games.
The losing pitcher after his eighth blown save was closer Manny Corpas (3-4).
