BEIJING, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Former world No. 1 Andy Roddick will meet Dudi Sela of Israel Sunday in the final of the men's China Open.

The second-seeded Roddick advanced Saturday by beating German semifinalist Bjorn Phau a 6-2, 6-7 (4-7), 6-1. The 26-year-old Roddick, who is 40-13 for the year, is seeking his third ATP title of 2008.

The other semifinal saw Sela, 22, sweep past seventh-seeded German Rainer Schuettler 6-3, 6-3.

Sela, who upset top-seeded world No. 5 Spaniard David Ferrer Thursday, is trying to become the first Israeli man to reach a final since Harel Levy in 2000.
