Tommie Harris' wife dies

HOUSTON, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Josh Anderson homered twice and knocked in three runs Saturday to guide the Atlanta Braves to an 11-5 rout of the Houston Astros.
Anderson finished with three hits and three RBI. Jeff Francoeur also had three hits and three RBI, Brandon Jones had two hits and three RBI and Brent Lillibridge had two hits and two RBI for the Braves, who have won three of their last four games.
The winning pitcher was reliever Vladimir Nunez (1-2).
Hunter Pence drove in a run for Houston with his 25th homer. Humberto Quintero had two of the nine hits for the Astros, whose three-game winning streak was broken.
The losing pitcher was starter Brandon Backe (9-14).
