BATON ROUGE, La., Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Charles Scott rushed for 141 yards and two touchdowns Saturday to lead the sixth-ranked LSU Tigers to a 34-24 victory over the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Jarrett Lee hit 18-of-27 passes for 261 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for LSU (4-0, 2-0 SEC). Brandon LaFell made seven receptions for 100 yards for the Tigers.

Mississippi State's Tyson Lee completed 17-of-26 passes for 175 yards and a touchdown. Anthony Dixon and Christian Ducre each scored rushing touchdowns for Mississippi State (1-4, 0-2).

Ducre caught a late fourth-quarter touchdown pass, but dropped a third-down passes to halt a late Bulldogs' rally.
