MILWAUKEE, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Prince Fielder hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning Tuesday to give the Milwaukee Brewers a 7-5 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Mike Cameron also had two RBI for the Brewers, who are one game behind the New York Mets in the National League wild card race. Ryan Braun had two hits, two runs scored and an RBI in the win.
Nyjer Morgan had with four hits and two RBI for the Pirates, who have lost four of their last five games.
Rookie Steve Pearce added a two- run homer in the loss.
Salomon Torres (7-5) picked up the win with an inning of scoreless relief. Pittsburgh reliever T.J. Beam (2-2) took the loss.
