MLB: New York Yankees 7, Baltimore 3

NEW YORK, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Home runs by Johnny Damon and Jose Molina powered the New York Yankees over Baltimore 7-3 Sunday in the final game at old Yankee Stadium.

Damon ripped a three-run homer and and Molina hit a two-run shot, the final homer in the stadium the Yankees played in since 1923.

Andy Pettitte (14-14) got the win, allowing three runs and seven hits in five-plus innings.

Loser Chris Waters (3-4) gave up five runs in 5 2/3 innings for Baltimore.

The Yankees' all-time record at the stadium was 4,133-2,430.
