MLS: New England 1, Colorado 1 (tie)

COMMERCE CITY, Colo., Sept. 21 (UPI) -- The Colorado Rapids' Colin Clark and the New England Revolution's Kenny Mansally each scored as the teams battled to a tie Saturday.

The tie meant New England is now within five points of the league-leading Columbus Crew in the Eastern table. Colorado is in a third-place tie with Real Salt Lake in the West.

Next Saturday, New England (12-7-6) hosts Columbus; Colorado (9-12-4) takes on the New York Red Bulls.
