
WASHINGTON, Sept. 21 (UPI) -- Cha Seung Baek yielded a run in seven innings Sunday, pacing San Diego's 6-2 win over Washington that completed a three-game sweep.
Baek (6-9) scattered five hits, did not walk a batter, struck out five and the only run he gave up came on Ryan Zimmerman's sixth-inning homer.
Kevin Kouzmanoff had two hits -- one a two-run, first-inning double -- and three RBI.
Adrian Gonzalez had two hits -- one a solo homer in the sixth -- and three runs scored.
Nick Hundley added one RBI for the Padres, who had lost two in a row before the sweep.
Zimmerman also had an RBI single in the eighth and Willie Harris added two hits in the Nationals' fourth straight loss.
Losing pitcher Odalis Perez (7-11) allowed three earned runs and five hits in six innings with one walk and a career-equaling 11 strikeouts.
