MLB: Cleveland 10, Detroit 5

CLEVELAND, Sept. 21 (UPI) -- Ryan Garko's four hits and five RBI Sunday keyed the Cleveland Indians' 10-5 win against the Detroit Tigers.

His three-run, first-inning triple started the victory and, later he hit a sacrifice fly and an RBI double.

Asdrubal Cabrera, Victor Martinez, Ben Francisco and Andy Marte all had two hits and one RBI and a run scored on Edgar Renteria's third-inning throwing error for the Indians, who won the season series 11-7.

Winning pitcher Scott Lewis (3-0), making his third major league start, gave up three earned runs on eight hits and three walks in five innings with six strikeouts.

Renteria led Detroit with three hits, one a solo, fifth-inning homer.

Three others had one RBI and a run scored on Brandon Inge's second-inning, double-play groundout.

Losing pitcher Dontrelle Willis (0-2) yielded six earned runs and five hits in 2 1/3 innings with six walks and four strikeouts.
