MLS: Kansas City 2, Toronto FC 0

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Jack Jewsbury and Kevin Souter scored, leading Kansas City to a 2-0 win over Toronto FC Saturday night.

It was KC's first back-to-back wins since the first two weeks of the season.

Jewsbury scored in the 63rd minute on a penalty kick, while Souter scored his first goal in Major League Soccer in the 79th. Also for Kansas City (8-9-8), goalie Kevin Hartman made three saves for his ninth shutout.

Toronto FC (7-12-6), is winless in six straight and last in the Eastern Conference.
