COL FB: Kansas 38, Sam Houston State 14

LAWRENCE, Kan., Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Todd Reesing completed 23-of-38 passes for 356 yards and two TDs and ran for another Saturday in No. 19 Kansas' 38-14 win over Sam Houston State..

Kerry Meier had eight catches totaling 136 yards and scored one touchdown for Kansas (3-1). Dezmon Briscoe caught five passes for 124 yards and a score; Angus Quigley rushed 16 times for 61 yards and a TD; and Jocques Crawford had 12 carries for 43 yards and a TD.

Rhett Bomar was 26-of-46 for 340 yards and one TD but also threw three interceptions for the Bearkats (1-1). Bomar also scored the other Sam Houston State touchdown himself.

Justin Wells caught eight passes for 111 yards and a touchdown and James Aston had five catches for 67 yards.
