
KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Tim Tebow passed for two touchdowns and Brandon James returned a punt for another Saturday, leading fourth-ranked Florida to a 30-6 win over Tennessee.
Tebow was 8-of-15 passing for 96 yards and added 26 yards on the ground. Percy Harvin caught two of those passes for 49 yards and a TD and Aaron Hernandez also had a receiving touchdown.
Emmanuel Moody led the Gators (3-0, 1-0) in rushing with 55 yards on nine carries.
Jonathan Crompton completed 18 of 28 passes for 162 yards and ran for 23 yards and the only touchdown for Tennessee (1-2, 0-1). Arian Foster had 37 yards on the ground on 14 carries and Gerald Jones caught five passes for 40 yards.
Tennessee out-gained Florida 258-243, but the Vols had two fumbles in the first half that allowed the Gators to take an early lead.
