
EUGENE, Ore., Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Kellen Moore passed for 386 yards and three touchdowns Saturday to lead Boise State to a 37-32 upset of 12th-ranked Oregon.
Moore completed 24-of-36 pass attempts. Vinny Perretta caught three passes for 91 yards and a touchdown for Boise State (3-0) and Chris O'Neill added four receptions for 31 yards and a TD in the win.
Darron Thomas was 13-of-24 passing for 210 yards with three touchdowns and an interception for Oregon (3-1). LeGarrette Blount ran for 102 yards and a score and Jeremiah Johnson had 95 yards rushing and a TD for the Ducks.
Boise State was ahead 24-6 lead after the first half . The Ducks, with Jeremiah Johnson's 17-yard scoring run early in the third quarter, narrowed the Oregon deficit to 11 points. But Moore hit Perretta for a 74-yard TD and two Kyle Brotzman field goals, from 26 and 34 yards away, increased Boise State's lead to 37-13 after three quarters.
