TOKYO, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- World No. 3 Ana Ivanovic was beaten in three sets Thursday in second-round play at the Pan Pacific Open tennis tournament in Tokyo.
Ivanovic, seeded second in Tokyo, has sagged since winning the French Open and taking over the No. 1 ranking in the world. Since then she is 4-4, including Thursday's 6-1, 1-6, 6-2 loss to Nadia Petrova.
