
DALLAS, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Dallas quarterback Tony Romo connected on 21-of-30 passes for 312 yards, rolling up three touchdowns as Dallas downed the Eagles 41-37 Monday.
Also for Dallas, Terrell Owens caught three passes for 89 yards and two touchdowns, passing Cris Carter and moving into second place on the NFL's career touchdown list. At 132, he's now right behind Jerry Rice at 197.
The Cowboys also benefited from Jason Witten's seven catches for 100 yards and Marion Barber's four catches for 51 yards and a touchdown. Barber also ran for 63 yards and a touchdown.
In the Eagles' tough losing effort, Donovan McNabb threw 24-for-36 for 274 yards and a touchdown, but fumbled in the fourth quarter. Brian Westbrook had 18 carries for 58 yards rushing and two touchdowns, also scoring on the passing touchdown.
