MLB: Colorado 10, San Diego 3

DENVER, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Chris Iannetta hit a grand slam homer Tuesday, powering the Colorado Rockies' 10-3 victory over the San Diego Padres.

Ubaldo Jimenez (11-12) gave up two runs on three hits and three walks, and struck out nine in seven innings for Colorado.

Iannetta had two hits, Jeff Baker went 3-for-4 with a three-run homer and double, and Clint Barmes added two hits and two RBI for the Rockies.

Shawn Estes (2-3) took the loss after allowing six runs on 13 hits and a walk in 4 2/3 innings for the Padres, who have lost four of their last five games. Adrian Gonzalez had a two-run homer in the first inning for San Diego.
