MLB: Baltimore 2, Toronto 0

TORONTO, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Chris Waters pitched a shutout and Luke Scott homered Tuesday in the Baltimore Orioles' 2-0 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays.

Waters (3-3) threw a complete game for the first time in his career, scattering four hits and two walks while striking out three.

Scott's homer was his 23rd this season. Brian Roberts drove in the other run for Baltimore.

Travis Snider doubled for the Blue Jays, who have lost three straight.

Shaun Marcum (9-7) took the loss after allowing one run on two hits in two-plus innings before leaving the game with numbness in his right forearm.
