CLEVELAND, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- Scott Lewis pitched six shutout innings and Shin-Soo Choo hit a two-run homer Monday to lead the Cleveland Indians to a 3-1 win over Minnesota.

Choo had two hits and Kelly Shoppach added a solo homer for the Indians. Rafael Betancourt and Rafael Perez each threw a scoreless inning of relief while Jensen Lewis gave up a homer by Joe Mauer but earned his ninth save of the season.

Kevin Slowey (12-10) took the loss after allowing three runs on seven hits in six innings. Delmon Young had three hits for the Twins.
