Chipper Jones had three hits and one RBI for Atlanta. Omar Infante also drove in a run and eight players had one hit each for the Braves, who have won five of their last six games.

Atlanta's Martin Prado walked three times and scored twice.

New York's David Wright hit two homers among four hits and three RBI.

One New York run scored on a fourth-inning throwing error by Atlanta shortstop Brent Lillibridge. Carlos Delgado added three hits for the Mets, who have split their last eight games.
