In his first multi-homer game, the rookie right-fielder hit a solo homer in the third inning. His three-run ninth inning shot capped the rout.
Carlos Gomez also had two hits and four RBI. Justin Morneau led a 14-hit attack with four hits and two RBI and two others knocked in one run for the Twins, who had lost three of their previous five games.
The win helped Minnesota pull within one-half game of the idle Chicago White Sox atop the AL Central Division. Chicago's doubleheader against Detroit was rained out.
Winning pitcher Scott Baker (9-4) gave up an earned run and four hits in six innings.
Baltimore's Ramon Hernandez and Nick Markakis both had one RBI. Four others had one hit in the Orioles' 11th loss in their last 13 games.
The losing pitcher was starter Daniel Cabrera (8-10).
