PITTSBURGH, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Brandon Moss's RBI double in the bottom of the 12th inning Saturday lifted the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 7-6 win over the St. Louis Cardinals.
Moss's only hit in the contest came off losing pitcher Chris Perez (3-3) with two outs in the bottom of the 12th.
Ryan Doumit had two hits, including a two-run fifth-inning double. He added a first-inning sacrifice fly.
Nate McLouth drove in one run. Nyjer Morgan had three hits and Freddy Sanchez two for the Pirates, who have won only three of 10, including six straight defeats.
The winning pitcher was Craig Hansen (1-3).
St. Louis got two hits, one a two-run fourth-inning homer from Felipe Lopez. Three others had one RBI and four players had two hits in the Cardinals' third straight loss.
