CHICAGO, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Saturday's scheduled doubleheader between the White Sox and Detroit Tigers in Chicago was postponed by rain.

Weather-permitting, the teams will play a split doubleheader Sunday, with the first game at 1:05 p.m. Eastern and the second, regularly scheduled contest at 7:05 p.m. Eastern.

No information was provided about Sunday's starting pitchers, but Saturday, Detroit had slated Kenny Rogers (9-13) to face the White Sox' Javier Vazquez (11-13), with Zach Miner (8-4) and Lance Broadway (1-0) hurling the nightcap.

The White Sox have a one-game lead over the Minnesota Twins in the American League Central Division.
