BATON ROUGE, La., Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Charles Scott had 102 yards and two TDs and Trindon Holliday returned a punt 92 yards for another Saturday to lead No. 7 LSU over North Texas 41-3.
Andrew Hatch was 10-of-17 for 125 yards and rushed for 18 yards and a touchdown for LSU (2-0). Brandon LaFell had seven receptions for 69 yards.
Giovanni Vizza hit on 22-of-40 pass attempts for 149 yards for North Texas (0-3). Casey Fitzgerald had 11 catches for 75 yards and Sam Dibrell caught seven for 49 yards.
Cam Montgomery gained just 33 yards on the ground as LSU held the Mean Green to 44 yards rushing.
The Tigers had 425 yards of total offense to North Texas' 199.
