COL FB: BYU 59, UCLA 0

PROVO, Utah, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Max Hall threw for 271 yards and tied a BYU record with seven TD passes Saturday, shredding the UCLA defense in a 59-0 rout by the 15th-ranked Cougars.

Hall completed 27 of his 35 pass attempts in the victory, which extended the school's winning streak to a nation-best 13 games.

Austin Collie had 10 receptions for 110 yards and two TDs for BYU (3-0). Michael Reed caught five passes for 90 yards and one touchdown, while Dennis Pitta and Harvey Unga each caught two TD passes. Unga added 17 rushes for 72 yards.

Kevin Craft was 23-of-39 passing for 230 yards and rushed five times for 10 yards for UCLA (1-1). Chane Moline had six carries for 11 yards and Terrence Austin caught eight passes for 88 yards in the loss.
