CHICAGO, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- The scheduled game between Detroit and the Chicago White Sox was postponed Friday by rain.

No makeup date was immediately announced.

The White Sox, who own a one-game lead over Minnesota in the AL Central, were also rained out Monday against Toronto. Chicago swept a doubleheader from the Blue Jays the next day.
