MLB: Atlanta 5, Colorado 4 (10 innings)

ATLANTA, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Kelly Johnson scored in the 10th inning Tuesday when Colorado reliever Taylor Buchholz balked, letting the Atlanta Braves slip by the Rockies 5-4.

Casey Kotchman drove in two runs for the Braves, and Jeff Francoeur and Brian McCann each added an RBI in the win.

Julian Tavarez (1-3) pitched a 1-2-3 top of the 10th to earn the win.

Brad Hawpe hit a two-run homer. Garrett Atkins tied the score in the ninth with a solo home run and Chris Iannetta also homered for Colorado.

Buchholz (6-6) got the first two outs in the bottom of the 10th. But Johnson singled and raced around to third on a double by Josh Anderson. Buchholz then hitched mid-windup for a balk, sending Johnson home with the winning run.
