INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 8 (UPI) -- Matt Forte ran 50 yards for a touchdown and Lance Briggs returned a fumble 21 yards for another score Sunday, helping the Chicago Bears beat Indianapolis 29-13.

Forte finished with 123 yards rushing.

Jason McKie added a 1-yard touchdown for the Bears (1-0).

The only touchdown for Indianapolis (0-1) came on a 6-yard pass from Peyton Manning to Reggie Wayne.

Robbie Gould of the Bears and Adam Vinatieri of the Colts each kicked two field goals.
