Jacksonville Jaguars vs Tennessee Titans

NASHVILLE, Sept. 7 (UPI) -- Tennessee Rookie Chris Johnson ran for 93 yards and a touchdown Sunday and the Titans outlasted the Jacksonville Jaguars 17-10.

Titans quarterback Vince Young, who passed for a touchdown but was intercepted twice, left the contest late in the fourth quarter with a sprained left knee.

LenDale White ran four a touchdown for Tennessee (1-0).

The Titans' defense had six sacks and created three turnovers.

Jacksonville's David Garrard threw for 215 yards and a touchdown, with two interceptions.

Tennessee's defense held Jacksonville's two top rushers, Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew, to a combined 31 yards.
