BRIDGEVIEW, Ill., Sept. 7 (UPI) -- Stephen King had a goal and Jon Busch turned in his MLS-best 10th shutout of the season Saturday night when the Chicago Fire beat Red Bull New York 1-0.

King scored his second goal of the season in the 36th minute.

Chicago (11-7-5), which has only been beaten twice in its last 11 games, is tied with New England for second in the Eastern Conference, following the Revolution's 4-0 loss to first-place Columbus Saturday.
