COL FB: Florida 26, Miami (Fla.) 3

GAINESVILLE, Fla., Sept. 7 (UPI) -- Tim Tebow accounted for two touchdowns and 301 total yards Saturday night to lead fifth-ranked Florida's 26-3 win over Miami (Fla.).

The reigning Heisman Trophy winner completed 21-of-35 passes for 256 yards with two scoring passes and added 55 yards on 13 rushing attempts.

The Gators broke open a close contest with a 17-point fourth quarter.

Percy Harvin scored once on five carries for 27 yards and Louis Murphy led receivers with one touchdown on four receptions for 77 yards for the Gators (2-0), who beat their in-state rivals for the first time since the 1985 season.

Miami (1-1) averted a shutout on Matt Bosher's 50-yard second-quarter field goal.

Quarterback Robert Marve was limited to 10-of-18 passing for 69 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions.

Graig Cooper ran for 31 yards on 15 carries and the Hurricanes' Leonard Hankerson and Kayne Farquharson both caught three passes for 22 yards.
