ST. LOUIS, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Dan Uggla singled in the go-ahead run during a three-run 11th Friday, giving the Florida Marlins a 4-1 victory over St. Louis.

Florida tied it in the ninth on a one-out homer by Mike Jacobs and then produced three runs in the 11th off three St. Louis pitchers.

Hanley Ramirez singled to open the 11th against Ryan Franklin (5-6) and John Baker reached on a bunt single. Baker was forced at second on Jorge Cantu's fielder's choice grounder and Ron Villone came on to face pinch-hitter Paul Lo Duca.

Lo Duca fouled out to first, after which Jason Motte was called on to pitch to Uggla. On an 0-2 pitch, Uggla singled in Ramirez. Cody Ross then singled and when right fielder Felipe Lopez could not field the ball cleanly, both runners scored.

Arthur Rhodes (4-1) got the win by pitching the 10th and Matt Lindstrom was called on in the bottom of the 11th to earn his first save.
