ARLINGTON, Texas, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- Adrian Beltre hit for the cycle in a five-hit outburst with five runs and three RBI Monday to lead the Seattle Mariners in a 12-6 win over the Texas Rangers.

Beltre became the fourth player in Mariners history to hit for the cycle and the first in seven years.

Yuniesky Betancourt, Jamie Burke and Jeremy Reed each had two RBI for the Mariners, who have won seven of their last eight games. Betancourt had three hits, including two doubles and a solo home run.

The win went to Sean Green (4-4), who relieved Carlos Silva with three scoreless innings. Silva, fresh off being activated from the disabled list, allowed six runs on 10 hits in 4 2/3 innings.

Losing pitcher Luis Mendoza (3-7) gave up four runs on five hits and a walk while only recording one out.

Taylor Teagarden hit a three-run homer while subbing for injured Jarrod Saltalamacchia.
