MLB: LA Dodgers 6, Arizona 2

PHOENIX, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Manny Ramirez had four hits, including two solo homers, Saturday and the LA Dodgers broke an eight-game losing streak with a 6-2 win over Arizona.

Matt Kemp had two hits, including a fifth-inning two-run homer, Angel Berroa had two hits and one RBI and a run scored on Stephen Drew's fourth-inning throwing error.

Winning pitcher Chad Billingsley (13-10) gave up two earned runs and nine hits in seven innings with two walks and six strikeouts.

Arizona's Chris Young had three hits and both of the diamondbacks' RBI. Drew and Augie Ojeda added two hits apiece in Arizona's fifth loss in their last six contests.

Losing pitcher Dan Haren (14-7) surrendered five earned runs and 10 hits in five innings with no walks and five strikeouts. He had won six of his previous seven decisions.
