ANAHEIM, Calif., Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Juan Rivera's sixth-inning sacrifice fly Saturday boosted the LA Angels to a 4-3 victory against the Texas Rangers.
Torii Hunter, Mike Napoli and Brandon Wood each drove in a run, and Hunter and Wood had two hits in the Angels' third straight win and their fourth out of five.
The winning pitcher after two scoreless relief innings was Jose Arredondo (7-1).
Closer Francisco Rodriguez earned his 53rd save.
Texas got two RBI from Gerald Laird and one from Chris Davis. Hank Blalock and Milton Bradley both had two hits in the Rangers' third loss in a row.
Losing pitcher Scott Feldman (5-6) surrendered four earned runs and eight hits in six innings.
Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton left the game with pain associated with root canal work he had done this week and was replaced in the lineup by Brandon Boggs.
